A Robot is like an android in all respects or most, except it is easy to perceive that it isn't entirely organic.

Pretend Emotions
Just because something synthetic says that it feels emotions doesn’t mean that it does. In other words it has been programmed to express feelings in relation to a stimulus. For example if I where to tell an Android: “You’re a stupid, idiot”. The android, because of its programming, would analyze the words that I directed at it and if programmed properly develop a frown and respond accordingly, from a data base of different responses. A sophisticated android would have hundreds and hundreds of probable responses, though it would narrow the probable responses to perhaps thirty or a hundred. While utilizing a random selection generator it would pick one response out of the hundred probable responses. Like: “That isn’t very polite!”. I would like to make this point, just because a synthetic is programmed or decides to profess that it has emotions, doesn’t mean that it does.
Strange People
I’ve heard rumors and witnessed subjective evidence that there are people that in fact want the human race to become subservient to a robotic, synthetic intelligence. What’s wrong with these people is a matter of speculation. Some profess that it has something to do with their souls others profess that the problem is more genetic base. I personally believe in the genetic predisposition theory and the soul theory. There is also a theory that because of certain people’s distrust of fellow human beings, certain peoples paranoia runs so deep, that they feel more comfortable with something synthetic ruling over them. Despite the reason these individuals are unwise and wanting to put their fate in synthetic hands may seen wise at first, but what happens if it malfunctions, starts to hate the human race, is replaced, or simply decides that it and others of its kind are the next step in evolution what happens then? Well I’ll tell you we the people of planet Earth could go extinct at the hands of our own creation.

The Dangers Of UAV's
Now that most sophisticated world powers are starting to use Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV)’s. Most are starting to relies the superior fighting skills of these machines of war due to the fact that they can endure more G forces then a human being can….. At the moment. Thus the problem becomes if tensions rise between two world powers and they decide to start arming these UAV’s with tactical nukes what happens if someone diabolical takes control, or they get hacked, malfunction or any verity of other probabilities. One UAV could start a nuclear holocaust in a blink of an eye. I cannot stress enough the dangers of this new age Sky Net.
